iThra Knowledge Program slated to open in al-Hasa
With an expected 400,000 visitors to Saudi Aramco’s iThra Knowledge program in al-Hasa starting this weekend, event staff are busy making final preparations for one of Saudi Aramco’s most popular outreach programs.
The popular event, which runs daily through April 18, is designed and produced by Saudi Aramco’s King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture. This is the second such program in 2014: The highly-successful iThra Knowledge Program in Jiddah closed last month with a final visitor tally of 662,000.
Serving as a stunning showcase for talents from throughout the Kingdom and around the globe, the educational program — formerly the Saudi Aramco Cultural Program — is one of the most successful outreach initiatives in the company’s history. The al-Hasa venue at King Abdullah Park will increase Saudi Aramco’s reach to more than 1 million people in the first four months of 2014.
